3 months down in the new year and only a total of 6 volunteer hours (another shift at the food bank). It shouldn't be so hard to find places to volunteer at (not medical related). I have submitted 3 applications to large places in my area but have not heard any responses. My father did make a good point that with so many people out of work right now people are turning to volunteering to fill the time. That may explain part of the reason no one has contacted me.
I recently got certified to use the equipment at the local community access television station so at least I can start working on some of my crazy ideas. I may also have to count my time there towards my 250 hour goal (when I work on other people's projects).
I have a "spring break" coming up in 2 weeks and I really wanted to do some volunteering that week but it probably won't happen. We'll see.
